“Mr. Wrenn has in preparation plans for a beautiful 15 room home of frame construction for H.L. Chapin to be erected in Holladay’s Addition [this part of Holladay's Addition was once considered part of Irvington].  Its approximate cost will be something like $15,000.  The floors will all be of hardwood, as will the interior finish.  It will be heated by steam, but two fireplaces will also be installed.  In the attic there will be a billiard room, besides several bedrooms.  The foundations will be of concrete and stone.”
