The former dining room, now a den, is highlighted by the northwest themed mural on the walls above the restored wainscotting. Scenes on the four walls reflect the natural scenery of Oregon in the direction of the four points of the compass from Portland. In the photo, we are looking east toward the mist-shrouded Cascade Mountains.
