The Portland's White House Bed and Breakfast
An Elegant Mediterranean/Colonial Revival Mansion

In keeping with a long tradition, the Portland's White House Bed and Breakfast was our Tour Day Headquarters in 2006 courtesy of its very supportive owners.  This grand mansion, the most expensive home ever constructed in Irvington (in constant dollar terms, anyhow), was built for Robert F. Lytle in 1911.  In the last 10 years it has served as one of Portland's most elegant lodgings.  An extensive Photo Tour and history is included in our Home Tour 2003 coverage.

* This is the "Historic Name" given to this home when it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
