1803 NE Thompson Street
A Brilliantly Conceived Craftsman Bungalow

As with every room in the house, color and warmth define the living room. The dark green grass-cloth wall covering is historic, and typical of Craftsman era bungalows. The woodwork including crown molding is oak -- the floors quarter-sawn oak. The rug is hand-made Chinese. The sofa at far right was a 1930's purchase of Mrs. Powell, who moved here with her husband in 1917.
