Pioneering Craftsman That Helped Define the Style in Portland

A Morris-style chair made by the Lifetime Furniture Company of Michigan in 1912 provides fire-side seating in the living room.  The bold horizontal lines of the fireplace mantel echo elements of the mid-western Prairie Style that was contemporary with Stickley's Craftsman era.
