Pioneering Craftsman That Helped Define the Style in Portland

Built-in furniture characterized the Craftsman Style home.  These bookcases are just some of the many pieces of built-in furniture in the house -- including the built-in hutch and china cabinet at the far end of the dining room.  Dining room furniture by a local craftsman done in period style mingles with period pieces like the L. and J. G. Stickley rocker by the bookcase, dating to 1906.
