Despite this home's descent from Colonial traditions, in the 1920's the Craftsman and Arts & Crafts movement had not faded away completely -- as seen in the simplicity of the fireplace and its magnificent hand-made Batchelder tile.  Doors flanking the fireplace lead to the sunroom.
