On entering the house through the side placed entrance, you find yourself in this formal, but welcoming entry hall.  Pocket doors -- opened wide in this view -- frame the entrance to the dining room.  The built-in seating for guests in the entry is a classic Lawrence touch, as is the finely detailed paneling behind it.
