An Archetypal Craftsman Four-Square from 1909 -- Completely Restored One of the great features of the Craftsman Four-Square design is the useable third-floor space made possible by the dormers and relatively steep roof pitch. Here we see a portion of the master bedroom and the sculptural wall and ceiling lines reflecting the roof structure. Floors are highly polished Douglas fir -- once referred to as "Oregon Pine". |
