Masterpiece of Fine Craftsmanship, Beautifully Restored

Nearly all the visitors to the Tour commented on the beauty and character of this room, once the breakfast room and now the music room.  On Tour Day, the ancient white-blooming wisteria vine which wraps around the windows and a trellis to the left was in full bloom, adding a truly magical touch. In front of the windows at the left center is a virginal, a 17th Century style keyboard instrument with an extremely subtle tone produced by tiny metallic hammers striking thin brass strings.
