A Hoosier cabinet displays more antiques in the corner of the dining room opposite, while the original nickel-plated light fixture -- a traditional Colonial Revival design -- lights the room.  Just outside the photo is a wooden "icebox" fitted with modern refrigeration and used by guests for their personal beverages or food items.
