It's spring, and the rhododendrons which frame the entry are putting on a show for the Home Tour.  Portland's evergreen "rhodies", which spend most of the year in their modest green garb put on a spectacular show in mid-May, hitting their peak in the week just before and just after the Irvington Home Tour.
