This completely rebuilt kitchen replaces an unworkably cramped original.  The extension to the back of the house pictured in an earlier photo permitted the light-filled breakfast room in the distance.  Fine tiles used as backsplash are accented with custom hand-painted tiles by a local artist.  The center island conceals a recycling container.  At right, the leaded glass windows in the kitchen cupboards were patterned after the originals in the dining room.
