A Gallery of Irvington Views

If there is anything constant across the dozens of square blocks of this neighborhood it is the shear variety of styles found here.  From the late Victorians, through the many variations of Arts & Crafts, and on into the charming 1920's English, French and other European styles brought back from the Great War, Irvington has fine examples distributed throughout the area.  Unfortunately, portraying this photographically is hardly easy.  Everything from Portland's dark weather to the abundance of mature landscaping and large street trees concealing the houses conspires to make photographic vistas of great houses extremely hard to capture.
